Around a campfire, a Cherokee elder was teaching and talking to his grandchildren about life in general.
He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me. It is a fight that will happen inside all of you as well. It is a terrible fight between two wolves...
"One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, hatefulness and lies...
"The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, friendship, generosity, faith and truth...
“It is a terrible battle...”
The children thought about it for a minute.
Then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins this battle Grandfather?"
The Cherokee elder replied, "The one I feed."
Moral of the story:
If you are prepared to listen to the negative voices inside and outside your head, that’s exactly what you will receive in all aspects of your life. If, however you combat those ‘negative’ thoughts with positive ones, the world will not only appear to be a much better place, it will be a better place!
